Inspiration for this work comes from one of my creative work. The creation of this work is in a period of I was sick in hospital observation. In my hospital section, all I saw and heard is the pain and screeching from old men who in the age of my grandfather. During to liver painful, they were all incontinence and torment by the pain. It shocked me of how fragile of humans' body. Actually, I can image that how successful and great this old gentleman were, however, in front of the disease, they tried their best to fight the virus, or their life while they actually can do nothing but struggle from, disease at the eld age. For them , it may does not just means physical pain, but also the fight for their own last defense of the dignity of life. Like a soldier.

At the beginning of planing the art work, I though that the smaller basement than a art work would express a more stronger feeling of the main object. So I attached this my work structure and the basement together. However,it is something very depends on what art work your do. As for my work, the old ninja has his body and hand supporting his body, it is not that suitable for have a half basement board.

OLD NINJA

SCULPTURE

I got inspiration for the Bible chapter 11. This work is trying to make sense of the some phenomenon in our society.People always have ambitions , and sometimes, they fight for better states. For instance: better recourses , position in society, marriage, wealthy.

This is a miniature sculpture, serves to illustrate the human reaction to all around the edges. First of all, because of the size of the sculpture, with respect to it, the real human body will be a huge monster. It is also for reminding people not to forget their comparative insignificance with nature. Secondly, it is a group portrait work, the same crowd-response relationship, such as, competition, utilization, and exclusion.

I had a try to making a group of people and the making reflections of the relationships between people. I did a lot of research of the body movement, and designed 10 people in different gestures. What I want to mention is , I did not use any assister materials  for constructing of a high degree but  the human bodies own. This is a quiet interesting challenge when I was thing about the possibilities of their gestures when I want to finish it in the air. At the preparing for the show, I put this art work on a plinth, based on Edwina’s suggestion, I move this art work from plinth to the ground, for emphasizing the contrast between real human being and my small figures. When people are noticed this art work, they would need to stooped to watch this work, for some degree, I would like to regard this as a interactive between this work to their prototype and audiences as well. Also,  I want to develop this art work by several aspects. The first one is the whole size of the work — if there is more small figures contributes to the center and the structure ,  the visual effects from this tiny work would be stronger. Maybe, with enough figures, there might be different possibilities for build the main structure of the work. The second one is the usage of color. Because I used the nature color of foil paper and clay which seems not that match well, I need to think about the color. Or I can think about through controlling the time for be baking the work.

PEOPLE TOWER

the muscles on the back is always my biggest problem in my art works, For practice and research ,I did some muscle movement practice for understanding there method for moving muscles.

SAMURAI SWORD

I got a reference from eloymorales, he is very good at the hyperrealism painting. I set my infant face art work on a heavy wood board. Through this contrast, I want to show the combination of the textures and the thickness.
